Jennifer Gardiner

Jennifer Gardiner serves as the Legal Affairs Specialist for Passionate Wings, where she provides advocacy, guidance, and support to survivors of domestic violence as they navigate the complexities of the legal system. With a strong focus on empowerment and long-term stability, Jennifer works closely with survivors throughout the criminal justice process, helping them understand their rights, access resources, and move forward with confidence.

A key part of Jennifer’s work includes assisting survivors in expunging criminal records connected to their abuse—removing barriers that may prevent them from securing employment, pursuing higher education, or achieving financial independence. Her work plays a critical role in helping individuals not only rebuild their lives, but also reclaim opportunities that may have once felt out of reach.

Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Communications, providing her with both the technical knowledge and communication skills needed to effectively advocate for those she serves. She brings over 12 years of experience as a crime journalist, during which she worked extensively with courts across Utah. This experience gave her a comprehensive understanding of legal processes, courtroom dynamics, and the challenges individuals face within the justice system.

As both a seasoned professional and a survivor herself, she brings a level of empathy, insight, and authenticity that allows her to connect deeply with those she supports. She understands the emotional and practical challenges survivors face and is committed to walking alongside them every step of the way.
