Passionate Wings is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 by Martha Garcia, with Jeanie Wood serving as Co-Founder. The organization is based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area and was inspired by the story and pain of Julie Ann, Martha's mother, who endured all levels of abuse, including sexual, physical, emotional, mental and verbal abuse. Julie Ann's experiences and resilience shaped the foundation of Passionate Wings, driving its mission to support and empower survivors of domestic violence. Currently, Passionate Wings serves between 30 to 50 women each month at our dedicated building by providing essential items including clothing, shoes, purses, toiletries, makeup, hygiene, and other personal care items, products a woman needs for everyday life. Our aim is to empower women by offering support and information on leaving domestic violence situations. Through our website, we share needed information and amazing success stories. Our work is driven by the mission to restore dignity and provide hope to survivors.
