Jeanie Wood is the Co-Founder and COO, as well as the Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors for Passionate Wings, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women to rebuild, heal, and thrive after domestic violence. As a certified advocate for domestic violence survivors, Jeanie brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her role, allowing her to lead with deep compassion, understanding, and purpose.

 

As a survivor herself, Jeanie has transformed her personal journey into a mission to help other women break free from cycles of abuse and rediscover who they are beyond their past. Her vision in co-founding Passionate Wings was not only to provide immediate support, but to create a space where women can truly heal, grow, and step into the lives they were meant to live.

 

In her leadership role, Jeanie is actively involved in all aspects of the organization. She oversees daily operations while leading outreach efforts, managing donations, guiding social media presence, and working directly with the women Passionate Wings serves. Her hands-on approach ensures that every woman who walks through the doors is met with care, dignity, and genuine support.

 

Jeanie is most proud of the transformation she witnesses in the women they serve. She has seen firsthand the shift from survival to strength — as women begin to heal, reclaim their voice, and grow into empowered, thriving versions of themselves. These moments are the driving force behind her continued dedication to the mission.

 

As a mother, Jeanie draws strength and motivation from her children, who inspire her daily to keep moving forward and to continue building a life rooted in love, resilience, and growth. Her personal and professional journey reflects her belief that healing is possible, and that every woman deserves the opportunity to rise beyond her circumstances.
