Edwardo J. Naffate is a dedicated member of the Passionate Wings support team, bringing decades of hands-on experience, leadership, and a strong commitment to service. With over 29 years of professional experience, Edwardo has built a reputation for reliability, hard work, and continuous growth. Throughout his career, he has served as both a union steward and board member, demonstrating leadership, accountability, and a deep sense of responsibility to those he represents.
Edwardo’s background includes extensive experience across multiple trades, including concrete work and finishing, demolition, landscaping, roofing, and electrical. Known for his problem-solving mindset and strong work ethic, he takes pride in being someone who can step in, adapt, and get the job done. He continues to pursue personal and professional growth, currently working toward obtaining his general contractor’s license and exploring additional opportunities to expand his skill set.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Edwardo is deeply committed to family and mentorship. He spent over a decade coaching his sons in baseball while also serving as a board member, helping guide and support young athletes both on and off the field. His passion for supporting others and leading by example is a consistent thread throughout his life.
Edwardo’s connection to Passionate Wings is deeply personal. As the son of Julie Ann—the inspiration behind the organization—and the brother of Founder and CEO Martha Garcia Valentini, he carries a strong commitment to honoring his mother’s legacy. Her story and strength continue to fuel the mission of Passionate Wings, and Edwardo is proud to play a role in helping carry that mission forward.
As part of the support team, Edwardo is dedicated to helping create a safe, supportive environment for survivors while contributing to the organization’s continued growth and impact. He stands firmly behind the mission to empower domestic violence survivors to rebuild, heal, and thrive, and is honored to be part of a cause that transforms pain into purpose and creates lasting change.
